Slime is NOT edible. Do not consume. Keep slime away from sensitive skin, children under 5, pets, clothes and furniture. Slime may contain: glue, borax, clay, colorings, instant snow, glycerin, lotion or small parts.
1. Wash and dry your hands before playing with slime. You don't want germs getting into your slime.
2. Put slime back in the container when you are not playing with it and seal it by tightening the lid. If you do this, your care giver will be more likely to let you continue to play with slime.
3. Play with your slime in short, quick movements to prevent sticking.
4. Play with your slime on clean, flat surfaces. Wooden tables or other textured surfaces (rugs) will stick to your slime and your care giver will not be pleased.
5. Don't pick your nose.
Make your Slime Activator:
With help from an adult, dissolve the tiny bag of borax powder (1/4 tsp) into 1/4 cup of water. This is your slime activator. Label it and keep it in a little container for future use.
Too Sticky:
Add a few drops of slime activator and knead until smooth. Repeat until you reach your desired consistency.
Too Stiff:
Add small amounts of warm water to the slime and massage until you get the texture you want. You can also try adding small amounts of unscented lotion to the slime or leaving it in a warm place to thaw out if it is too cold.
Boops has informed me that a 2-part vinegar/1-part water solution works to remove slime from most surfaces. Pick off as much slime as you can, apply the solution and use a toothbrush to brush the slime off the surface. Good luck and remind the slime user of Slime tip #2 above.
